Bb and I were playing rough last night after dinner. He got so mischievous and grasped my hair real hard. Ouch!

He had a string of my hair on his tinny fist. I was angry(pretended),“B, stop snatching mommy’s hair” I blasted. As usual, he ignored and continued the pulling. Guess what I did? I grasped a handful of his hair behind him and pulled as hard as I could.

“Painful?” I asked him. He gave me a shy grin. He refused to give up; I again grasped his hair full of wicked expression; of coz with hard core pulling but without his hair landing on my big fist.

Finally he gave up, guess he must have felt the pain. Hooray! I won!

We left home at 7:30pm for dinner at Bangsar. We only reached the restaurant at 8:30pm. It was so jammed last night; I bet it’s because everyone was rushing to town to meet their sweet Valentine.

Upon reaching the restaurant we were greeted by beautiful decorated rose petals and candle lights. Its Cava restaurant and bar, serve Spanish cuisine, special wines and cocktails. Only 3 tables were occupied at that time.

We then ordered entrée of half a dozen escargots with butter and herbs; I went for baked cod fish, and hubby a lamb shank. Coupled with beer, I know, how inappropriate to have beer in that environment. Anyway, the food came in a short while when we chit chatted away happily. Other Valentines slowly arrived and filled up the entire restaurant. The placements of tables were a little too close to each other therefore I was a bit coy to snap photos of my food.

We waited for a least half and hour before our main course was served. I was running out of patience, hubby jokingly said maybe the chef wanted to have personal “TOUCH” to all the food he serves. Come to think about it I did feel uneasy after my fish dish. Other than the food came slow, it wasn’t all that nice( my cod fish’s skin was burnt black) and it didn’t have enough room for privacy; we could hear other couples’ conversation beside us. Arrgh… so constrain, don’t like it!

Anyhow, after we’d finished out food, we could stay no more. We called for bill and to my surprise it totaled up to RM185++. Huh! I secretly told hubby I would never go back there again unless my friend treats me to. He said “hey girl, please don’t sound so cheapo”.

Later hubby told me “Victoria station” is better. He is a hard core fan of Victoria Station. Any big, medium, small occasion also loves to go there. I insisted to try new restaurant nowadays.

No offence, food was nice when my friend first brought me there in Cava but the space was a little too tight for me last night. Hubby said jokingly, “Oooi, not enough money to buy big tables, I can buy for you!” *Rolled eyes*

As we were about to leave, hubby asked for a heart shaped balloon for bb.

Well, at least bb was happy with the balloon and we both were good company for Valentine’s day. What more can I ask? I think I will prepare candle light dinner myself at home next Valentine’s day other than splurging money away like that. What do you think?

It has been very different on Valentine’s Day for all parents with kids I think. At least it’s to me. No more fragrant roses and expensive gift. But sweet smell of kidos with lots of love. I am looking forward to a simple Valentine dinner with hubby tonight.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

With lots of hugs and kisses!

I made that 3D string of heart shapes for hubby.

The other night while I was reading newspaper, bb tried imitating me. He took the newspaper on the dinning table and started pretending to read and describe ‘em. Then he saw this pic of a soccer player…

“Ball it”

“huh?”

Bb what are you saying? He pointed at the picture and said “ball it”.

Then the maid told me he meant “eat ball”, he was trying to say the soccer player eating the ball. Haha, bb the soccer player is “kissing the ball” not “eating the ball”. Okay? *bb laugh*

I have recently watched a movie called “Brokeback Mountain” by Ang Lee. I watched alone at night while bb was asleep and hubby went out playing cards with his pal.

It was a slow movie. I turned on the subtitle in English so that I could get the message clearly as I don’t quite get those words if they speak with slang or too fast.

It’s a tale of two cowboys who fell in love with each other back in 1963 when the term “gay” was never heard before. There are lots of sexual scenes, kissing and hugging between the two men. Not sure how other men would take it but my hubby fast forwarded those scenes. He said “Yuck” while watching alone on a separate occasion. I enjoyed every scene and was deeply saddened by their sorrow and emotional suffering.

I asked myself what I would do if it happens to me.
How you would take it or react if one day you secretly found out that your beloved son or daughter’s lover happen to be the same sex? Is it gonna be yes, no or?

“If you can’t fix it you’ve got to stand it.” That is the dilemma faced by two cowboys

Bb was so excited and overjoyed when I brought him to attend Birthday party’s of Kai Xiang in Gymboree. For the first time he met Gymbo the clown, he was so amazed that the clown came alive, refuse to approach the big size clown in the beginning. But later got use to the friendly Gymbo and sat beside her for some song singing and gesturing.

He ran non stop later while all adults were having refreshment. He loved those balloons so much; he would get hold of two on each hand and released them within 30 sec to the ceiling. He would ask anyone around him to get him the balloon again. These went on for more than 20 times, can you believe it? I then tied 2 balloons around his waist and wherever he goes the balloon followed. He loved it, and I was free to feast upon those delicious snacks. Phew!
