I am feeling much better now; I was down with flu early of this week and took mc on Monday and Tuesday. I went for my monthly check up on Monday. It went all well but can you believe it, I am still not sure about the baby’s gender. Baby shut the leg tight and could not see anything. Doc said could be a girl because there is no penis to be found anywhere. Hah! However, she said my tummy is still 2 cm smaller than usual size. Hmm… that makes me worried a bit and worse she said I seem to squeeze my baby. HUH?? It is due to excessive coughing. Err… I was having real serious cough a month ago but no more wor. Anyway, I am trying to gulp as much of food as possible now.
Ivan is getting cheekier by the day and I think he has a little bit of stress as well from school. He constantly woke up in the morning asking me “Are we going to school today?” If my answer were yes, he would protest and ended up crying sometimes. His form teacher told me that he could not write “number seven” very well. Hmm…poor boy! Must be hard for him to do all this when what he wanted was playing.
He is very well aware of the baby now.
“kakak take(s) care of Ivan, not baby.” He exclaimed.
“Then who takes care of baby?” I asked.
“ Ivan”.
“Oh..good! So you help mommy to take care of baby okay?”
“Okie-dokie”
“Where is baby mommy? Here (pointed to the left of my tummy) or here?”(Pointed to my right tummy) “Baby is this whole big tummy.”
“Oh…”

Wowow.. still cant tell the gender.. you must be anxious…Can u imagine I started asking the obs the gender of my baby @ 4 months. Heehee…

hmmm just wondering if you ate any dairy products when u had flu cos mum to 2 angels had flu when she was preg with ellisa and she took dairy products, that’s y ellisa has the ezema problem…dunno better check with your doc again…

I heard the haze is back so have to really take care of yourself and the little one in the tummy.
I had very bad cough when I was preggy with Darrius too and only to find out I ate too much oranges. I stopped and the cough was gone.
Did you tell your gynae that you wanted a girl or a boy? Normally they will keep quiet until the day the baby is born.

3 of my friends tried the method of knowing the baby’s gender and it worked for them — Drink a glass of orange juice before you go for your monthly check up.
We get to know Ern’s gender when she was week 18. Her leg was ‘open wide”
I had a bad cough too during pregnancy. My gynae gave me baby’s cough mixture to drink, which is safe. I only took 2 times and it worked immediately.
