I went for a quick swim after work just now. I was tired after it and developed some minor flu symptoms. After fetching Ivan, daddy came home to fetch me and we head for centre point to have dinner. I hardly cook nowadays and mil has functions tonight.
I am not sure what went wrong with me. I was very annoyed with Ivan’s behaviour. I ordered a plate of kiddy fried rice for him, he only took 2 spoonful and refused to take anymore. Later he kept nagging me about he has 3 sets of Thomas and Friends train at home and giving me excuses of them not working well la, this and that. Actually what he wanted to tell me was he wants to buy a new train set he saw recently in a nearby grocery store. He irritatingly pulled my sleeve resulting me exposing my bra strap. It really made my blood boiling. I flicked my arms in an exaggerating manner as if I am trying to get rid of a very sticky chewing gum of coz without hurting him. But boy, hubby gave me a hard look and told me off. Gosh!!! I realized that it was a terrible act. People must have thought that I am a heartless mother.
I just hope I have more patients, how can I cope with two in the future when one is enough to drive me up the wall? Gosh!! I need some sleep.

how about take a leave and give yourself a good rest at home.ya,maybe like Jazz said, just hormone changed.
May 22nd, 2007 at 11:59 am
Don’t blame yourself, it’s probably the hormones, and moreover, you’re nearly due, so I guess everything added up will make you more grouchy than ever… If this grouchyness happens again, why not ask your hubs to bring Ivan away for a walk or something for some time-out for yourself?

Sometimes it hard to keep paying attention to others and no one is paying attention at us. I think there must be a lot of issue you have in your mind- work, family, baby, labor and etc. Take it easy! We are here to support you.

Tell me bout it, I easily lost my temper over Dillon lately too, it must be due to the hormone change. We’ll learn how to cope with 2 when the time comes.

I sometimes lose my patients too.. I think it’s just normal, but I feel very sorry after that.
Just today, when she coughed at Zaria, I just very roughly turned her head to the side and told her, “don’t be rude. Don’t cough into people’s face”.. But then I thought, how would she know. This is her first time and I should be more patient and explained to her nicely it’s not nice to do that. Aigh..

Yah-yah, hormone is the major culprit!
But I guess some preggy moms do get hot temper… so just bear for another 2 mths!

mama, weekend is coming up. Do nothing but have a good rest. Carrying extra pounds are like that, super tired. Sometimes you have to tell Ivan that you are tired for carrying a baby all the time and he will be understanding and maybe less nagging from him then?
June 2nd, 2007 at 9:35 pm
it’s the hormone,, anyway, the worse may come, just hang in there……….
take care,
