I was so tired thru out the entire weekend. I went for many round of snooze….
“Knock knock knock…”, Ivan came right in and show me this.

Wow…mommy is so touched. Hehe…the pic is not drawn by Ivan la, it’s his kakak who taught him how to draw. He pastered me to get him this Thomas n friends mini white board the day before.
Later I took some pics of him practicing his number writing. He could write until 30 with the help of Sri. Not bad ler, got improvement despite teacher telling me he was slow n he fought in school. *bite fingers*

We brought the young one to purple Cane teahouse for a quick lunch previous weekend. He enjoyed himself snapping fotos around, checking out the comics n distubing some jie jie there while daddy n mommy sipping away some nice tea. I used to go there when I was in college, it never change much.

Hello and sorry for MIA and not keeping up with blog reading lately. Please bare with me as I am getting heavier and lazier by the day. Urgh! Believe me, I even find it difficult to put on my underwear and pants. My stomach is really growing wild. I really can’t wait to see my baby and gosh, got to watch my diet a bit. I have another 2 months to go and my weight is already 62kg from pre-pregnancy weight of 50kg. *Shake head*
We attended Ivan’s sports day last weekend. It was great fun. His father and I were impressed with how our little boy has grown. It was amazing to see how they are able to follow complicated instructions. Lil one was doing quite well despite having recovered from food poisoning. He was purging and puking in the middle of the night few days ago.

Daddy and I had signed up for StemLife’s cord blood banking for the coming newborn. I just received the kit this afternoon. It was quite a good bargain. We signed up for the Platinum package, a payment for 21 years in one-year time. Heard from the agent tat it is a 50% off from normal rate plus a year free of medical coverage. If anyone of you interested to get the package, email me, I can pass you his contact. He is very dedicated. Hehe…yea, I will get rebate as well if you sign up.

Other than tat, the creative bug has got into me lately. I could bead and bead till late night. Hell with those superstitious, hehe, I enjoyed doing it very much. Don’t think I will have any chance when the little one pops. Oh…yea, anyone of you heard of worldip tv? I have been watching some of the local tv in the office, hehe. Just register and you can enjoy watching free online live tv for a month. Cool!

I had been very lazy lately, no mood to blog, so sorry. Life is normal to me except my stomach is getting bigger and I find it harder to move around especially trying to get up from a sitting position on bed and the floor.
I went for my 28 weeks check up on last Monday. Guess what? Hah! I know the baby’s gender liao. Yea, I actually took your advice by walloping a pack of orange juice prior to check up. Amazing, baby’s legs were wide open. Gynae said, “ Should be a girl, that’s the vagina”. Well, it does not sound very confirm to me but I like to hear that she is a girl. Phew! I can close shop after this.
We hardly have any trip since arrival of Ivan. We made a trip up to Cameron Highlands last weekend. It was a very pleasant one. Ivan behaved very well the entire 2 days visit. We took Simpang Pulai route. We all enjoyed it very much. This probably would be our last trip before baby pops. It’s a very meaningful trip for Ivan as MIL’s home town is from Tanah Rata, Cameron. Her family used to own a restaurant cum hotel just right beside HSBC bank. They sold the shop to the current owner who sells antiques few years ago. Love the vegetables there, they are so cheap. I bought like 3 bags of them for my mum, mil and ourself. But but but, there is only 1 thing I hate about Cameron. It has got to be their flies, so very irritating especially during meal time. They exist even in clean looking hotels. Ivan was complaining about flies and bugs hitting his head. Haha!

Over the weekend, Ivan has demonstrated his skills of drawing again. Gosh! I was shocked that he could now draw human figure but I was told that he could do that quite some time ago. That sucks! Suck being a mother and not knowing it first hand. *shake head*

The other night when I was reading this pregnancy book and he saw it. He asked to read to him one after another. Hmm..I was quite open with him telling where he came from and how the next bb is coming out, from where. He is pretty sure where he comes from now. Those pictures depict it pretty well. Daddy saw and questioned me. I said, “Aiyah, it’s okay one, I am only having an early biology class with him.”
Do you think it is too early? I am pretty open with Ivan eh? Hah! Perhaps, hopping he could be a doctor one day. Kekekeke!

I heard a little voice calling “mommy, where are you?” about 4am in the morning.
“I am here”, I murmured.
Ivan’s bed is only right in front of ours. I crawled to check on him. Usually he will say he wants water or milk or he probably has dreams.
“I love you mommy”, he uttered.
My heart melt, “I love you too darling”, I replied. I went to the loo and check on him again later, he was fast asleep. I adored looking at his sleepy face, looks just like the father when he sleeps.
“I love you” is a rare word I used with my Chinese educated parents. I reckon it is due to their conservativeness, I was not raise to say I love you; instead, we used action to show our love to our dear parents. I remembered I had to attend a 3-day motivational course by Ernest Wong back in college. After getting to know the real me, I changed. I started to show more love to my parents. I seize every father’s or mother’s day to express my love in words to them. A simple “爸妈,我爱你。” (Mom & dad, I love you).
Hehe, they may be shy, but looking at how careful they keep those cards, I know deep down their hearts, they love it.
I just hope that Ivan won’t stop telling us he loves us.

I am feeling much better now; I was down with flu early of this week and took mc on Monday and Tuesday. I went for my monthly check up on Monday. It went all well but can you believe it, I am still not sure about the baby’s gender. Baby shut the leg tight and could not see anything. Doc said could be a girl because there is no penis to be found anywhere. Hah! However, she said my tummy is still 2 cm smaller than usual size. Hmm… that makes me worried a bit and worse she said I seem to squeeze my baby. HUH?? It is due to excessive coughing. Err… I was having real serious cough a month ago but no more wor. Anyway, I am trying to gulp as much of food as possible now.
Ivan is getting cheekier by the day and I think he has a little bit of stress as well from school. He constantly woke up in the morning asking me “Are we going to school today?” If my answer were yes, he would protest and ended up crying sometimes. His form teacher told me that he could not write “number seven” very well. Hmm…poor boy! Must be hard for him to do all this when what he wanted was playing.
He is very well aware of the baby now.
“kakak take(s) care of Ivan, not baby.” He exclaimed.
“Then who takes care of baby?” I asked.
“ Ivan”.
“Oh..good! So you help mommy to take care of baby okay?”
“Okie-dokie”
“Where is baby mommy? Here (pointed to the left of my tummy) or here?”(Pointed to my right tummy) “Baby is this whole big tummy.”
“Oh…”
