Phew! Finally, I get to be on leave for a while. It’s gonna be busy busy busy as well these whole week. I have an event coming up this Saturday with my partner. Yes, I am doing event such as opening, wedding planning, party, engagement, fullmoon and more. Although it’s busy but a really fullfilling expereince. I love it! 

The kids are fine. It’s holiday and there are both sticking to each other at home. Ivan is all about games, games, and more games everyday. He has put on some weight I noticed, a fuller face. Perhaps, no more worries or hectic and difficult home work for him. All he could think of is wake up earlier than usual time, no need to call, wake up automatically to start his day of games.

As for Adel, she has grown up so much. A taller girl with more words uttered and a lot more demand. She screamed out loud and demanded me not to tie my hair yesterday. I thought what happened? I released my hair, she screamed again and said ” Mama no tie hair.” So I release my hair and she stop screaming. I tie again and she showed face and said “Mama no tie hair” again. :) She is a funny girl.  Hahahaha! 

Yea, my little shy girl has turned 2 on 11th of July. She is mindful of nice dress she was wearing and enjoyed the attention given to her, she knew it was her special day. A day filled with joy and happiness. A lovely simple cake specially designed for her. Lovely grand-parents and family members celebrating with her on her special day makes it a memorable one. She is a cheerful but shy girl. Very shy indeed. She was even shy to see me when I returned from a working trip. She would run away when she sees a “kor kor” (lil boy) that she likes on the TV. Gosh!

Time flies, she is such big girl now. Lil boy has been admitted to Pui Chai 2 and officially upgrade to primary next year.

I am sure most of us asked this questions when the school holidays is near. We didn’t have much plans except a spontaneous Saturday ended up in Bird Park again. Hubby asked, why you love Bird Park so much? … actually don’t you think it’s very nice? Up close and personal, you could see birds everywhere and it’s “The World’s largest Free Flight Aviary”. You could see all kinds of birds, it has 3,000 birds and 200 species from all over the world and it’s cheap for a family outing.

We are frequent bird park visitors but this is first time for Adel. She was afraid when I brought her near to small birdy wondering around the floor. She uttered “scared” but enjoyed herself very much. She threw many tentrums in the middle of the Bird show; she wanted badly to get on to the swing at the playground nearby. I forgot to charge my camera, so not much shot taken.

On the other hand, we are sending the young boy for a circumcision. He had problems with some infection a while ago. School holiday is probably the best time for this simple surgery. Not sure how his reaction would be but I could predict that he is going to give us hard time.  He is the kind that would demand to plaster his small tiny little scratch on his hand or leg. I can’t imagine what he would react after having to remove foreskin from the most sensitive part of his body. Ouch! Good luck darling! 哥哥加油! 加油! 

Gosh! I have been real busy after my colleague has gone for maternity leave. I told her to better treat me makan when she comes back. And she said, “thank you, I will help you when you have your third child”. WHAT? I told her, “No Thank you and I don’t need your help”. NO WAY I am gonna have the 3rd one. Scary! My second one is still screaming her lungs out at age 2 here and she pula suggest to have the third one. No, no, no and NO! I am very contented with two that I have now. Many have told me that they regretted not having more when all kids have grown up. I think I prefer to still stick with two now. Let the regret comes later. Keke!  

What about you?If you have thought to stop having kids, what do you do to prevent yourself from getting pregnant? I have had friends taking contraceptive pills, some with a device on arms to prevent pregnancy, some use condoms, some did sterilisation. Any other better way? Was thinking of ICD (Intrauterine Contraceptive Device), heard it won’t intefere with hormone later. Got to start looking at it seriously. 

Look at her watery eyes, has been crying very often lately when she don’t get her way. She is at this “terrible two” Phase. Poor girl just recovered from fever last few days.

Just got these earrings done for Ivan’s teachers to thank them during teacher’s day. Chicsecret is having mid-year sale now. Do spread the news and would appreciate if you would “Pong Chan” a bit. Thanks!

It’s been a long time since we brought the kids out for excursion, especially adel. Due to her demanding-ness at this terrible 2 stage. Thanks to labour day and mommy is less stress and more at ease, we woke up early and head to midvalley to get a glimpse of the various monsters and dinosaurs on display. Both the kids got a little quiet and reserved due to the oversized display and its eerie sound… adel clinged on tightly to daddy all the time.

For the price that we were paying, I didn’t expect much. To pay RM 8 for kids 5-15 for entrance ticket is reasonable. Surprisingly, there were plenty of crowds and we spotted a family came with body guards as well. Guess everybody loves Dino.

Hey there! How is everyone? Hope you guys are doing well. Just thought of pending down some of Adel’s development.  I owe it to her, I have never written anything about her since her birth. Not that I love her less, but I really hardly have anytime to blog nowadays. I promise to do more in the future. 

This little girl is really sweet in her own way. She is turning 20 months this 11 of March. She loves twirling my hair whenever she wants to sleep, though it gets kind of irritating sometimes and she always accidentally pulled of some of my hair.  :) But that’s fine as I really love seeing her up close especially when I feed her. Yes, I still breast-feed her, only at night.  Just can’t get rid of it yet, love the bonding feeling so much, don’t know how to stop.  

She smiles a lot and greets us all. She can utter some simple words like papa, kor kor (bro), mama, kaka, jia jia (sis), gong gong, po po, ball, nei(barney), mum mum (eat), nen nen (my milk), mer mer (formula milk), me, go, come, mouth, nose, eyes, ear, bud (bird), bear, pooh, bo (gymbo), mou-she (mickey mouse) and so on. She is very chatty, she wld say things like”mama, bla bla bla bla bla…”, can’t understand her except mama. Basically a lot of uh uh ar ar and plenty of gestures. When she wants to pee, she wld say “erh erh”. She is off diaper during day time, except sleeping. Sri started training her b4 the CNY. She is doing well so far, that really help save us quite some expenditure on diapers. Good for the environment too…keke!   

Like all girls, she is fond of starring at her own self in the mirror and mimicking me putting on cream on her face using her tiny little fingers. 

I send her to Gymboree on the weekends, that’s the only time she gets to go out. Poor girl! Hope to have more excursion with her when we have more time. I am doing a part time course on sat to upgrade myself. Therefore, weekend again is super duper busy for me. The two kids are making lots of noise right now. Ivan is a big bully at home. He scratched his sister a few times already, leaving her marks and spots on her hand. Notty notty boy!

Time flies, my girl is 2 months old now. I am 2 months out of job too, going on 3 months. I gave myself till December, by then she would be 5 months old. It would be easier for anyone to take over. It was a little hard initially. However, I have grown to love sticking at home all day long. Hah! Feeling of useless at times but after all I am the meal provider for my girl.

I breastfeed her all day long at home and outside; Occasional mix of Formula if my production isn’t able to cater to her demand. I spend my day goo..gaa with her ( she is definitely one ji char po, very talkative) . I encouraged her brother to talk to her as well. Adel girl is generous with her smile especially when her bro throws her passionate kisses & tickles.

She sleeps on her tummy and is able to lift her head up looking around the cot. If we are out the whole day shopping, she would sleep throughout the night. I have been able to express some milk at night for storage when she missed her feeding. Of late, she seems to drink a lot more and unsettle before sleeping. I sooth her with a pacifier, it really is a great help to the zombie me. Hopefully, she would continue to sleep through the nite so I could catch up with some blogging & ppp.

Update: Just sent Adel for her 2nd month vaccine - Triple Antigen and Oral Polio + one new vaccine, can’t remember the name. She was very brave and never waste any of that expensive (RM175) oral medicine. Despite the rough oral med and the injection, she never cries. A brave girl I have here. I am proud of her.
